I am about convinced they are part of organized crime that is casing your house to see if anyone is home, to break in and rob. You need to add Criminal to the Call Type below. The phone book scam is that they drive around in whatever vans, trucks, (they get the new phone books from the supermarkets etc. ) and then use that as an excuse to come to your front door... if it still looks like no one is home, they proceed to the back, and try a breakin. They are fast, this happened so many times, been so weird, the later phone calls (repeated) come right as some unk. vehicle is stopped engine on in front of your house. I almost got the license plate but they sped off.

also received a call from an individual with thick indian accent looking for someone for some bond issue. I could barely understand him, and when I tried ot call back I got a recording that the individuals mailbox was full, and that it could no longer accept messages. Im definitely going to get in contact with this loser and figure out just what this scam is about!

automated call stated they were calling from Suntrust Bank to discuss my home mortgage. also, asked me were they speaking to me or my wife. and than asked me to input my Zip Code. at this point I hung up the receiver and ended the call. I have a bo not call on phone but guess it does not prevent annoyong calls.

Asking for names

When answering machine picks up they just do nothing/say nothing for 60 seconds then hang up.

I am receiving these calls at work and its a recorded message. I do not intend on calling them back because I too think its a scam
